Supportive Self Talk

Messages from Love: A Workbook & Course in Supportive Self-Talk

  • What kinds of messages do you give yourself?  Are they critical or supportive?
  • Is there something about your life you’d like to change or feel better about?
  • What might open up if you listened to your heart?

Your inner self-talk is very powerful.  The thoughts you entertain and the emotions that result create your experience of life.  If you give yourself messages based in fear or worry, you will feel anxious.  If you use messages based in love and trust, you will feel at ease.  You will feel good.  When you feel good, you show up for life from a different vantage point and can create the life you desire.

You can heal stuck patterns, fear and negative thoughts by listening to your authentic, loving heart. Thoughts based in Love create healing within and transform behaviors that do not serve you.  Learning to listen to Love instead of fear is one of the most powerful things you can do to heal from the past and create a more healthy life.

This Course and Workbook:

  • Provides meditations that connect to the inner spirit and its voice of Love.
  • Helps reduce discomfort by redirecting the mind towards loving thoughts.
  • Explores methods for deeper healing of painful beliefs & life experiences.
  • Helps release the “SHOULDS” and the fear of not being good enough or worthy.
  • Helps you move through stress, challenges and other limitations with ease.
  • Engages you to live from your most true, authentic and spiritual self.

Living the Power of Now

  • Free yourself from suffering, anxiety and stress
  • Let go of your past and future and live in the Now.
  • Access the spiritual space beyond your ego or fear based mind.

Based on Eckhart Tolle’s book, “The Power of Now,” and the basics of Mindfulness Meditation, this course will give you a sound, spiritual approach for calming the mind and opening to your authentic self.  Through an introspective process of self-awakening you can be at peace in the present moment. The class will discuss key aspects of the book and have meditations and simple exercises to access the place within that knows how to feel peace and non-judgment and a lot less frustration!

This workshop will help you…

  • Learn to enjoy the moment and go with the flow.
  • Cultivate feelings of patience, non-judgment and acceptance of “what is”
  • Heighten your awareness so you can be free of judgment and pain.
  • Calm your mind and reduce anxious or frustrating feelings thru easy mental, breathing and meditative exercises.

Dates:  Wednesdays at 7 p.m.

April  18 (Intro Night; this is not a requirement to sign up for the whole course)

May 2, 16, 30 and June 13 from 7-8:30 p.m.  (The 4 session course is for those who want to develop a practice and integrate these techniques on a deeper level.)

Cost: $20 for Intro night; $110 for 4 session course.  $15 for meditation practice CD (if don’t already own)
